Cinnamon Buns

Ingredients

Dough

60g plant butter

200ml coconutmilk

1 packet yeast (ca. 9g)

80g coconutsugar

pinch of salt

400g spelt flour

Filling

Cinnamon + Coconutsugar

melted plant butter

 

Melt your butter and heat the milk lukewarm. Add the yeast, mix well and let it rest for 5 minutes. Add the sugar and salt to the warm ingredients and also the flour and start kneading into a dough. Add some more flour if you need. Cover the dough with a kitchen towl and let rest in your oven for 40 minutes by 40°.

After the dough had rested, start kneading it again. Roll out the dough and cut it into 3 oblong pieces.

Spread the melted butter on the dough and then the sugar+cinnamon mix.

Roll it together and cut into 4cm pieces. Spread these buns on your backing pan and let rest in the oven by 40° for 30 minutes again.

After they double sized, head your oven to 260° and bake the buns for 7-8 Minutes!
